Uniform

To be correctly dressed for class is an integral part of the young dancer’s training.


The uniform helps make the class a special activity and gives the child a sense of belonging.


It also teaches them the importance of a tidy appearance when faced with exams, auditions and interviews.


BALLET (Girls):

Babies & Pre-Primary Classes: White sleeveless dress with gathered skirt, blue belt & blue crossover cardigan. Pink socks & pink ballet shoes.
Primary: ISTD sky blue leotard with skirt, blue crossover cardigan, pink socks, pink ballet shoes.
Grades 1 & 2: ISTD sky blue leotard with belt, blue crossover cardigan, pink socks, pink ballet shoes.
Grades 3 & 4: ISTD cherry leotard with belt, black crossover cardigan, pink socks or tights, pink ballet shoes.
Grades 5 & 6: Bloch black camisole leotard, black crossover cardigan, pink tights and soft pink ballet shoes, pink satin pointe-shoes (Grade 6).
Inter-Foundation to Advanced 2: RAD or ISTD black leotard, pink tights and pink satin pointe-shoes.

BALLET (Boys):

Black shorts or leggings, white T-shirt & socks, black leather ballet shoes.

NATIONAL (Girls):

Peasant blouse and skirt, white knee socks, black national shoes and leather ballet shoes.

NATIONAL (Boys):

Shorts and shirt, shoes as for girls.

MODERN (Girls):

Primary – Grade 2: - Black Camisole Leotard & Stirrup Tights, Bare Feet or Jazz Shoes. Grades 3 to Advanced: - Coloured Thin-Strapped Leotard, Black Footless Tights.

MODERN (Boys):

All Grades: Black stretch trousers, white T-shirt, black jazz shoes.

TAP:

As for Modern except black tap shoes for girls and boys.

HAIRSTYLES:

In ALL subjects hair must be tidy and drawn away from the face and neck.

Backstage Uniform Suppliers provide us with our dancewear and shoes.
The owner; Debbie Pritchard makes frequent visits to the School with all uniform for classes, exams, festivals, etc.
Dates and times of her visits can be obtained on application.
